mini DM's

NUDM is not the only organization funding the Andrew McDonough Be Positive Foundation’s fight against pediatric cancer. Two high schools in the greater Chicago area, Oak Park River Forest High School and Evanston Township High School, hold multi-hour dance marathons, or Mini-DMs, to support Be Positive.

Mini-DMs, which replicate NUDM on a smaller scale, donate the money to NUDM and another beneficiary of their choice. This year OPRF will be donating solely to NUDM’s beneficiaries, The Andrew McDonough Be Positive Foundation and the Evanston Community Foundation. ETHS will be donating to Special Olympics and NUDM’s two beneficiaries. Students at these two schools have created committees, organized students, planned entertainment for the event, solicited donations, fundraised and more. These students work alongside NUDM to raise awareness for our causes!
