Now in its 41st year, Northwestern University Dance Marathon (NUDM) is one of the largest student-run philanthropies in the nation. Since its founding in 1975, Northwestern students have raised more than $15 million for more than thirty different beneficiaries.
Founded in 1982, Starlight Children’s Foundation Midwest works to help critically and chronically ill children live happier and healthier lives. Through partnering with medical experts, Starlight is changing the way pediatric medicine is being delivered by improving patients’ experiences both in and out of the hospital.
The mission of the Evanston Community Foundation is to build, connect, and distribute resources and knowledge through local organizations, helping Evanston thrive as a vibrant, inclusive community. The Foundation manages endowments, addresses Evanston’s changing needs through grantmaking and provides leadership on community issues.
